The Victorian Government is running The Small Business Digital Adaptation Program that is offering a rebate up to $1,200. Products available through the program can help sole traders, micro and small businesses improve their cashflow, increase productivity, attract customers, and assist them to tell their story.
Here’s how it works:
take free product trials and workshops
choose Squarespace or one or more of the other 13 approved digital products
purchase your product and start using it
apply for the rebate to cover up to 12 months access
if eligible, you will be able to claim $1200.
Products chosen by eligible businesses must be:
a new product not currently used by the business, or
an upgrade of an existing product with additional product features providing specific digital adaptation capability (for example, upgrading an existing website to an e-commerce site), or
a product available under the program that has been used by the business before (more than 12 months ago) that it would like to resume using.
To be eligible for the program, you must:
Be a sole trader or a small business in the State of Victoria.
Hold an Australian Business Number (ABN). You can check and submit here if you’re eligible or not sure.
Not-for-profit charitable organisations are also encouraged to apply for the rebate.
